Text Prerequisites
Qualifying scores.
(a) A minimum score of 90 in aptitude area GM in Armed Services Vocational aptitude Battery (ASVAB) tests administered prior to 2 January 2002.
(b) A minimum score of (88 in aptitude area GM and 85 in aptitude area GT) or minimum score of 93 in aptitude area GM on ASVAB tests administered on and after 2 January 2002.
Active Army (AA) or Reserve Components (RC). To attend this phase, student must be an enlisted member of the Active Army or Marine Corps (USAR/USMC) Reserve Component.  All Soldiers must attend consecutively (back-to-back) the Phase 1, 641-91F10, and their applicable Phase 2, 641-91F10, or 641-2111 (OS). These courses are not split option courses.  SECURITY: None

Course Scope:
To train students to perform field and sustainment maintenance on shoulder and hand fired individual weapons; light machine guns; heavy ground mounted machine guns; and mortars.
 
Special Information:
1. POI 641-91F10 Phase 1 is the consolidated ITRO portion of the course. Both US Army and US Marine Corps students will attend Phase 1 collectively. Phase 1 subjects include: Shoulder and Hand Fired Weapons, Light machine Guns, Heavy Ground Mounted Machine Guns and Mortars.
2. POI 641-91F10 Phase 2 is unique only to US Army students. Subjects include: Basic Knowledge and skills, M242 25mm Automatic Gun, M120 120mm Mortar, M590 12 Gage Shotgun, M107 Sniper Rifle, Army Peculiar Subjects, M198 Medium Towed Howitzer, and M119A2 Light Towed Howitzer. The students will also attend 24 hours of FTX train-up and pre marksmanship instruction, and participate in a 36 hour FTX.  NOTE: US Marine Corps students will also be required to complete the subjects in POI 641-2111 (OS) (USMC) Phase 2 (Small Arms Repairer) following completion of POI 641-91F10 Phase 1.
